I been to this restaurant on sunday and this place is awesome. Great food excellent service.

This review is for Delhi Darbar Restaurant, Clark Ave, Niagara Falls, Ontario. Usually I don't write reviews, but this particular restaurant (service and food) has prompted me to write few words of caution for future visitors. I was there during the Christmas of 2009. Rather than narrating, let me be straight to the points

1. On the website, it says dinner buffet for $12.99. But they charged us $13.99.
2. There are no appetizers in the buffet you have to remind them to get papadums, tandoori chicken, etc
3. No naans (bread)
4. Only four dishes, two of which were stale (chola and Khadhi). No cauliflower, only potatoes.
5. Ordered butter chicken to supplement the food. For $12.99, the dish contains 10 small pieces of chicken and lots of gravy
6. Rice in the buffet was dry, ended up ordering chicken biryani. The waiter told us it is good for 2 persons, but isn't.

Added to all the above injuries, they charge you upfront 15% gratuity. So that pissed of customers are forced to cough up tips even though they did not enjoy the food. I wouldnt recommend this place. They tell you one thing and serve you another.

i live local in niagara falls n know all the indian restaurents but i must say that delhi darbar is a winner in overall their food is always fresh n auhentic. good luck to all management n staff u guys doing amazing job der keep it up

I went to this restaurant during my visit to Niagara Falls and I have one thing to say. The employees charge you so much and the tip is horrendous! Talk about a 15% gratuity. If they find out you are Indian, like I am, they act like they really are interested in you. In fact, these employees are money minded. The one that dealt with my family charged me extra, higher than usual, on the final bill. I'd also like to mention that since my family and I are from the United States, every store near the International border should be able to exchange currencies and calculate the American dollar price. But no, the employee there something that never made sense to my wife and me. He said that the currencies were equal, this happened August of 2009, and we paid the Canadian price with AMERICAN DOLLARS! If you want employees to rip you off while eating at this ostentatious restaurant then please come here. If not, then there is an Indian restaurant next to this one. That restaurant has better prices and the nan was also tasty.

simply the best the food taste like home made after a long time i had gud indian food.

I visited all most all Indian restaurant in Niagara Falls but i never ever tasted such a mouth watering dishes.
Quality of Food is Excellent No Doubt.
Prices are so reasonable.
Enviorment is so friendly & service is best.
Its worth to visit. I recommend to all my friends.
One more attraction ..PARKING is FREE, So i enjoyed there have good food & visit Niagara Falls without spending penny on Parking.
