Taki Restaurant

The ambiance of the place, the friendly servers and the calming choice of music on the background. Its a lovely place. There is a special booth rooms if you want privacy and there is also the zashiki to experience real japanese dining. Food is of course well prepared and delicious. Prices are a bit high but given the location of the place and the quality it breaks it even. The sushi bar is open too so you can talk to the sushi chef and point at the fish you want as you go.Lunch time menus is way cheaper so go around lunch time to try and impress someone for dinnertime! I recommend their Teriyaki Dinner and their Rainbowroll.

I had 2 shrimp rolls and 1 spicy salmon roll for take-out last night. Frankly, I was very disappointed in their foods. Especially, shrimp rolls were not what I expected at all. There was only 1/3 part of little raw shrimp inside the roll. I would make even better rolls at home, I guess. And I think salmon was not even fresh 'cause my wife was having a very bad diarrhea all day today.

Their decor was very nice inside but their foods were not quite there. It was such a disappointing. (

I used to love the sushi in this restaurant about 2 years ago. Now, I don't find it as good as before and the prices are way too expensive. I've had better sushi in Mississauga. The manager didn't seem to be very cooperative with me saying that he didn't like me as a customer, which I thought was a bad thing on his part when he should be providing great customer service.
